As the Backend Engineer at BFREE, you will be a crucial part of our technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our revolutionary financial platform.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of technology with finance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving technological innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems to support BFREE's financial operations across multiple countries and markets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement and optimize APIs, databases, and other backend components to enhance system performance.
Work closely with the technology leadership team to align technology initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in a backend engineering role, preferably in the fintech or banking sector.
Strong knowledge of Node Js with Typescript and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
Experience with database design and optimization, API development, and microservices architecture.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Proficient understanding of security best practices in backend development.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
