We are looking to hire a Backend Developer. This is a role where you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Technology. In this capacity, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient backend systems.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable and efficient backend systems.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features.
Ensure the backend systems are secure and protected from common security threats.
Participate in code reviews and help maintain code quality.
Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Work with the frontend team to integrate with the frontend.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years work experience.
Proficient in PHP, Laravel, Python, Docker, and Node.js
Strong experience in developing and maintaining backend systems
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Experience with cloud computing platforms
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
