    Job Objectives -

    To develop business and be instrumental in coordinating the daily activities of the sales team through data analysis, coaching, mentoring and coordination with purchasing and logistics to ensure smooth processing of sales orders. Effectively building this market across Nigeria by adding value to customers by offering new value-added products, cost effective solutions, application guidance in coordination with application team etc.

    To achieve volume and value-based sales targets. To ensure attainment of company sales, goals and profitability in consultation with Business Head B2B. The role manages sale of the company's products and services for B2B customers within the flour, milling, bakery, confectionary areas directly and as well as building and maintaining relationships with key distributers pan Nigeria.

    To role is responsible to achieve year on year incremental, profitable growth in sales revenue through effective business development, account management, planning and execution of sales strategy.

    Job Requirements -

    • Experience of 10+ years selling within flour, milling and bakery areas.
    • Strong data analysis skills with proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
    • Well exposed to B2B sales and any experience in confectionaries, snacks, biscuits, bread improver, enzymes, preservatives and additives would be an added advantage.
    • Excessive travelling is required around Nigeria and the right candidate should have strong networks across most of the country.
    • Any Diploma, Bachelors, MBA / PGDBM in any food related field, agriculture or chemistry shall be added advantage.

    Job Responsibilities -

    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
    • Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality, or quantity.
    • Strategic Responsibility – To build a sales plan with clear accountabilities and define roadmap to achieve sales budget.
    • To ensure B2B sales process execution as per defined operating procedures and any deviation need to documented and approved by Line Manager.
    • To monitor various projects progress, identify new project opportunities and share regular update with senior management.
    • Directs and coordinates implementation of policy objectives and strategies towards the achievement of planned sales volumes, margins, and market share for the company’s products in Nigeria.
    • Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing changes as instructed by senior management.
    • Meets marketing and sales revenue objectives
    • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; recommending pricing strategies to line manager; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
    • Achieve B2B team sales targets as agreed and approved on a consistent basis.
    • Establishes productive and professional relationships with B2B customers including major key distributors and wholesalers especially in Lagos state and replicate same in up-country regions.
    • Negotiates and closes trade agreements with Small & larger Distributors.
    • Establishes gaps and potential growth/penetration areas within the B2B sales function by using your knowledge of report building and solid data analysis to identify trends and spot gaps to further push the sales function forward.
    • Manages operational activities by regular calls and trade visit; ensures weekly route plan is met, submit daily sales activity reports and activation of daily market development drive where recruitment of new customers/keeping current customers are given top priorities.
    • Conducts market research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities for proper business growth.
    • Liaise with line manager for provision of regular products availability and best logistic operation services.
    • Keeps abreast of new product launches and ensure customers are on board.
    • Identify and contact potential customers for new business opportunities.
    • Motivated and able to achieve revenue targets.
    • Regularly willing to broaden knowledge in any areas.
