    Associate, Transactions and Capital Market

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join our Transactions & Capital Markets team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, and regulatory compliance. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of financial markets, and the ability to structure and execute complex transactions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings, M&A, and private placements.
    • Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence to support deal origination and execution.
    • Assist in drafting transaction documents, including term sheets, offering memoranda, shareholder agreements, and regulatory filings.
    • Research and analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory developments affecting capital markets transactions.
    • Work closely with legal, tax, and financial advisors to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
    • Provide strategic advice to clients on capital raising strategies, corporate restructuring, and investment opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant securities laws, listing requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare presentations, pitch materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and regulators.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, ACA, or CIS) is an added advantage.
    • 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, or a law firm with a focus on transactions.
    • Strong knowledge of capital markets, securities regulations, and corporate finance principles.
    • Experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and presentations.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a results-driven mindset.

    Preferred Skills & Attributes

    • Experience working with regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stock exchanges, or other financial regulatory agencies.
    • Proven track record in executing complex financial transactions.
    • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
