Associate Sales Representative at Awake to Power Communications

Job Summary

• The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging customers, understanding their design needs, recommending suitable wallpaper and molding solutions, and closing sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with professionals in the interior design and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

• Welcome walk-in customers, interior designers, architects, and contractors.
• Understand customer design goals, project scope, and budget.
• Recommend suitable wallpapers, moldings, and décor solutions based on needs.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales.
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.

Product Knowledge & Demonstration

• Maintain strong knowledge of all wallpapers, moldings, and accessories.
• Explain product features, installation benefits, and aesthetic advantages.
• Provide samples and catalogs when necessary.

Showroom Management

• Ensure the showroom is always clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Arrange product displays and ensure samples are well presented.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory management.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Build long-term relationships with designers, developers, and home owners.
• Handle inquiries in-store, via phone, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum OND/HND/B.Sc in any discipline.
• 1–3 years’ experience in retail, décor, construction materials, or interior design sales (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication and persuasive selling skills.
• Ability to understand design preferences and make creative recommendations.
• Proficiency with WhatsApp, Instagram, and basic computer applications.
• High level of professionalism, confidence, and customer service orientation.
