Associate Professor - Department of Building Technology at Delta State University

Qualification and Experience

To be qualified for the position of Associate Professor (CONUASS 6), the candidate must have:

• A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree;
• At least three (3) years fulltime teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer (however a candidate with two (2) years full time teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer and outstanding publications in Q1 and Q2 journals may be considered);
• A minimum of thirty-six (36) points, of which twenty-two (22) points must be from recognized peer review journals. Of the 22 points, at least nine (9) shall come from publications in journals indexed in Thompson Reuters (Clarivate Analytics) or Scopus;
• A Google Scholar h-index of at least 4; and
• Evidence of full professional registration with relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
