Associate 2 - Litigation & Compliance at Gresyndale Legal

The Role

• We are looking for a strong litigation and regulatory lawyer who can manage defined workstreams, produce high-quality written work and support the firm's dispute-resolution and compliance practice with increasing independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, legal opinions and dispute-resolution correspondence.
• Conduct legal/regulatory research and prepare clear analysis for supervisors and clients.
• Support court appearances, filings, strategy preparation and management of litigation deadlines.
• Assist with compliance reviews, regulatory filings, licences and interactions with relevant authorities.
• Track matters, deadlines, dependencies and outstanding actions and escalate issues promptly.
• Work through the firm's power-meeting, research, review and quality-control processes and respond promptly to supervisory comments.
• Support and, where appropriate, supervise junior associates on defined tasks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years' post-qualification or equivalent relevant legal experience.
• Meaningful experience in litigation/dispute resolution, regulatory or compliance work.
• Excellent legal drafting and research skills with strong procedural discipline.
• Ability to manage several matters simultaneously and maintain accurate matter records.
• Professional confidence, sound judgment and strong follow-through.
• Ability to work collaboratively and respond constructively to detailed review.
