Assistant Manager - Purchase at FlexFilms

Job purpose

To accomplish the goal of assisting with the purchase of materials, maintain inventory, review and place purchase orders and schedule purchases and arrivals.

Job description:

• Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
• Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
• Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
• Process ERP transactions and monitor contract executions.
• Resolve the logistics, supply and product specification and quality issues concerning incoming supply with the suppliers.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP, HRIS and other related softwares.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

B.SC/HND in any relevant field with at least 6 years cognate experience.

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of ERP- preferably Oracle
• Well-versed with numbers and computations
• Knowledge and understanding of Despatch procedures
• Understanding of VAT rules, procedures rates
• Able to generate creative/innovative solution in work solutions
• Ability to demonstrate customer service orientation both for external and internal customers.
• Display system and Process Orientation Approach
• Ability to communicate in logical and simple manner and develop shared understanding and consensus on the specific goal/ objective.
