Assistant Lecturer - Computer Science at Lagos State Cooperative College

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2).
• NYSC Discharge, Exemption or Exclusion Certificate. • Must be computer literate with good practical skills in software and ICT tools.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

(ADDED ADVANTAGE)

• Master's Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, CompTIA).
• Relevant teaching, industrial, or research experience.
• Publications in reputable journals or conference proceedings.
• Strong programming and ICT practical skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach and facilitate learning in Computer Science courses and related subjects.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
• Supervise practicals, projects, and industrial training.
• Conduct research and publish in relevant areas.
• Provide academic advice and mentorship to students.
• Participate in curriculum development and review.
• Perform departmental and institutional duties as assigned.
