    Assistant General Manager (Commercial Facilities)

    Job Summary

    • Ensure effective implementation of maintenance services on the commercial facility in accordance with client service level agreements and company quality standards.
    • Responsible for coordinating operations and operatives, ensuring service efficiency as the operations lead on the facility.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic:

    • Forecast, monitoring and implementation of site operational budgets in accordance with stipulated budgeting processes.
    • Drive innovation through the development of best practice, identify industry trends/tools that will contribute to the organizational goal of service excellence.Participate in the development of capital budgets.
    • Project future site requirements including manpower, equipment and infrastructure upgrades.

    Operational:

    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring all client requirements (maintenance services) are effectively fulfilled in accordance with service level agreements and organizational quality standards.
    • Ensure proper use and proactive maintenance of facility equipment by relevant operators as per standard operational procedures. Ensure timely and proper reactive maintenance in the event of equipment failure.Implement, monitor and review health and safety standards on the facility, ensuring potential threats/risks are identified, and recommendations made for necessary action.
    • Establish and maintain cordial relationship with key stakeholders including traders associations, market operators, law enforcement and other relevant government agencies.
    • Engage with relevant parties for timely resolution of issues and grievances.
    • Prepare and deliver consolidated operational and other necessary reports as required by top management.
    • Ensure prompt notification and collection of service charge / other relevant fees by facility occupants in accordance with service level agreements.
    • Manage and drive customer focus within all areas of operational activities and ensure effective relationship management with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Support the activation of new sites within the region as required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management, Facilities Management or other related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in managing commercial facilities.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior management role.
    • Professional membership with IFMA, ESVARBON.CFM or FMP Certifications are desired.
    • ISO 9001 or ISO 41001 certifications are an advantage.

    Skill Requirements

    • Proficiency in Hausa Language
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite and facilities management softwares.
    • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent verbal, written communication and report writing skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.Proven knowledge of service charge enforcement and collection.

    Salary
    N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
