As an Inventory Audit Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of our inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective control measures.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of the company's inventory to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies and collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to reconcile inventory records.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues and generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
Work closely with the finance department to reconcile inventory records with financial records and ensure compliance with established documentation and record-keeping procedures.
Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to inventory management and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or its equivalent in relevant courses.
1 - 3 years’ relevant experience in inventory audit.
Strong use of Excel, Familiarity with Data analysis, inventory management software and systems.
