Job Description

• Work with clients to understand brief determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed
• Create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces, by assessing space requirements.
• Determine the best furniture placement, and select decorative items, while adhering to relevant building code.
• Prepare sketches or other visual aids to present designs to client.
• Consult with client to select materials, furnishings, and décor
• Discuss designs with clients for approval and production.
• Prepare detailed drawings for production.
• Follow design trends and developments.
• Study, research and plan various styles of furniture design.
• Prepare product prices and job quotation

Skills / Requirements

• B.Sc. in Architecture, Fine Arts or any relevant fields.
• Must be an expert in graphic design and video capturing
• Must be proficient in use of CAD software. Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3dsmax, Revit, Archi cad
• Must have good creative ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work for long hours
• Physically fit to lift up to 15lbs when necessary
• Must be able to distinguish between colors
• Must be attentive to detail
• Must have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
