    Application Specialist (Inside Sales)

    Overall Function

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Application Specialist (Inside Sales) to join our dynamic team at MIVA University.
    • As an Inside Sales Specialist, your primary focus will be on proactively reaching out to prospective students through cold calling and effectively closing leads to drive student enrollment.
    • This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in closing deals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective students with the aim of generating leads and driving enrollment.
    • Engage with potential students, effectively communicate the benefits of our online programs, and tailor the pitch to match their needs and aspirations.
    • Actively listen to prospects, understand their educational goals, address their questions and concerns, and provide accurate and timely information.
    • Utilize persuasive selling techniques to guide prospects through the enrollment process and convert them into enrolled students.
    • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on program offerings, admission requirements, and any changes or updates.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with leads through regular follow-up calls and emails to ensure engagement and progress in the enrollment journey.
    • Collaborate with the admissions team to streamline the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth transition for enrolled students.
    • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track leads, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and outcomes.
    • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall enrollment goals of the organization.
    • Continuously stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities for improvement and stay competitive in the market.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
    • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably with a focus on cold calling and closing leads.
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential students.
    • Ability to effectively handle objections, address concerns, and provide persuasive responses.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
    • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for lead management and tracking.
    • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and online research abilities.
    • Knowledge or experience in the education industry is preferred.
