Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Ammonia Field Operator located in Port Harcourt.
• The Ammonia Field Operator will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks related to the production and operation of ammonia plants.
• This includes monitoring and controlling equipment, conducting routine inspections and maintenance, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• The Ammonia Field Operator will work closely with a team of operators and report to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Ammonia Field Operator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of ammonia plant operations and processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
• Experience in operating and maintaining process equipment and machinery
• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the chemical industry
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
• Degree or certification in chemical engineering or a related field is preferred
