This is a full-time on-site role for an Ammonia Field Operator located in Port Harcourt.
The Ammonia Field Operator will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks related to the production and operation of ammonia plants.
This includes monitoring and controlling equipment, conducting routine inspections and maintenance, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The Ammonia Field Operator will work closely with a team of operators and report to the Plant Manager.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Ammonia Field Operator or similar role
Strong knowledge of ammonia plant operations and processes
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
Experience in operating and maintaining process equipment and machinery
Understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the chemical industry
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
Degree or certification in chemical engineering or a related field is preferred
