Alternative Payment Method Relationship Manager with a Security Background Unlimit
We’re looking for APM relationship manager to participate in the Africa regions development and APM portfolio expansion.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst specifically working with payment APIs or similar products.
In-depth understanding of the merchant payment ecosystem and related technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels.
Technical background or proficiency in working with engineering teams is highly desired. Familiarity with industry-leading payment providers is a plus.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
Must hold at least one of these current / valid licenses as follows:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
Some other recognized related qualification
8+ years of proven experience specifically in fintech, banking, or mobile money, is preferred.
Strong understanding of the payment landscape across Africa
Excellent skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
Demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand merchant needs, online payment industry trends, and competitor's offerings.
Build communication with local payment providers, banks, and acquirers from scratch.
Negotiate commercial and technical terms of cooperation with payment methods providers.
Collaborate closely with the APM product management team
Provide tech team with all documentation and technical information needed for successful payment method integration.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies related to payment APIs and merchant integrations.
