Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team at Olsale Farms in Owode, Ogun State.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing crop production, soil management, and implementing sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crop management plans
- Conduct soil tests and analyze results
- Supervise farm staff and provide training on best practices
- Monitor crop health and implement pest management strategies
- Collaborate with the farm manager to achieve production goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or related field
- 7 years minimum of verifiable experience in agronomy
- Strong knowledge of crop management and soil science
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
