Job Description

• An Agriculture Teacher is responsible for educating students on the knowledge and skills involved in the production of food, fibre and other agricultural products.
• The Teacher is also responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing students’ work and providing guidance and support for students in their studies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons to students
• Develop and implement teaching programmes
• Assess and record student performance
• Provide pastoral care and guidance
• Develop resources and materials to aid teaching
• Keep up to date with developments in the subject
• Organise and supervise field trips and visits.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification and experience in agriculture
• Ability to teach students of all ages
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Good classroom management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 / month
