    Administrative Assistant

    ob Summary

    • This role requires a highly organised and professional individual with demonstrable experience in school administration, strong communication skills and the ability to represent the school effectively as the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcoming and attending to parents, pupils, staff and visitors in a professional manner.
    • Handling admission enquiries and supporting the admissions process.
    • Providing accurate and timely information to parents and stakeholders.
    • Assisting staff with administrative requests.
    • Liaising with vendors and external providers of extracurricular activities to ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and smooth delivery of enrichment programmes.
    • Maintaining comprehensive records of pupils.
    • Actively participating in school meetings, parent information sessions, parent-teacher conferences and parent engagement initiatives.
    • Supporting the coordination of school events and activities.

    Requirements

    • Must reside within commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Management or Business Administration.
    • A minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience in admissions or administration within an educational establishment (Nursery/Primary school experience will be an advantage).
    • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent keyboarding and correspondence skills.
    • Proven ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
    • High level of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
    • Confidence in speech and carriage, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally, while remaining quick-thinking and composed under pressure.

    • Smart, polished and professional appearance.
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
    • A proactive problem-solver, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

    Salary
    N100,000 Monthly.
