    Admin / Accounts Officer (Port-Harcourt)

    Administrative Responsibilities

    • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the facility management site.
    • Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and electronic) for operational and financial documents.
    • Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and presentations as required.
    • Coordinate staff attendance records, leave schedules, and timesheets for payroll processing.
    • Manage office supplies, consumables, and stationery inventory.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and accommodation where required.
    • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and client representatives on administrative matters.
    • Ensure proper documentation of invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, and service reports.
    • Support compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and client procedures.

    Accounts Responsibilities

    • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment requests.
    • Raise purchase requisitions and monitor procurement documentation.
    • Maintain petty cash records and perform regular reconciliations.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
    • Monitor budget utilization and track site operational expenses.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
    • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
    • Maintain asset registers and inventory records.
    • Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with company financial policies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor\'s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years\' relevant experience in an administrative and accounting role.
    • Previous experience in Facility Management, Engineering Services, Construction, Oil & Gas, Energy, or Property Management will be an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP systems.
    • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
