Accounts & Reporting Manager at LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited

Key Duties

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare and submit CBN and other regulatory returns within approved timelines
• Produce management and statutory financial reports for EXCO and the Board
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, CBN guidelines, and prudential requirements
• Reconcile core banking systems, general ledger, and regulatory reports
• Drive finance process improvements and reporting efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or equivalent) – mandatory
• 7–12 years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting within a regulated financial institution, preferably a microfinance bank
