Job Description

• Review all financial transactions posted to the General Ledger on the company’s accounting and transaction systems, including disbursements, repayments, investments and other inflows.
• Supervise posting of all transactions by the posting officers as soon as those transactions are executed.
• Ensure proper filing of records in the department.
• Generate and send investment advice and maturity schedules to investors periodically.
• Maintain the Company’s Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare the monthly payroll and process payments within defined Service Level Agreements.
• Prepare the monthly Tax and Pension remittance schedules, and process remittances within defined Service Level Agreements.
• File monthly tax returns.
• Call over all posted transactions daily to identify and correct any posting errors.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly, and identify and correct any posting errors arising from the reconciliation.
• Support the Head of Finance in preparing the Management Accounts and all other financial reports.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Finance & Admin.
