• Our client is looking for an Accounts Officer to support quality assurance and quality control activities across production, ensuring products meet regulatory, safety, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, cost reports, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, overheads, and profitability by product line.
• Assist in stock/inventory valuation and reconciliation with the warehouse/production team.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
• Support internal control processes and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with audits (internal and external) by providing required schedules and documentation.
• Support cash flow monitoring and expenditure tracking.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year post-NYSC experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA - part-qualified or in view) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
