    Accounting Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising all financial and accounting activities related to the pure water production business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, inventory accountability, and compliance with company and statutory requirements.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Supervise daily accounting operations of the pure water factory and distribution business.
    • Monitor and record all sales transactions from sachet water production and distribution.
    • Supervise cash collections from distributors, vendors, and sales agents.
    • Ensure proper documentation of all expenses, purchases, and operational costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of production costs, raw materials, packaging materials, and inventory usage.
    • Monitor stock levels of nylon rolls, bags, treatment chemicals, labels, fuel, and other production materials.
    • Reconcile daily sales, cash deposits, and bank transactions.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
    • Track factory operational expenses including diesel, generator maintenance, repairs, transportation, and staff costs.
    • Verify supplier invoices and process payments accordingly.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments from distributors/customers.
    • Assist management in preparing budgets, cost analysis, and profitability reports.
    • Ensure accurate payroll preparation for factory workers and administrative staff.
    • Implement internal financial controls to minimize fraud, wastage, and leakages.
    • Coordinate periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial policies.
    • Support external auditors and provide required accounting documentation.
    • Supervise junior accounting/cashier staff and ensure proper financial procedures are followed.
    • Analyze production and sales data to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
    • Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

    Requirements

    • Education: OND/HND/BSC
    • 2 - 10 years of Accounting and Warehouse working experience (salary based on experience)
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency in digital tools: Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom.
    • Must reside in Aba.
