Accounting Officer at Nextzon Business Services Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger postings.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking.
• Monitor petty cash usage and prepare reconciliation reports.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting documents.
• Assist with internal audits and compliance checks.
• Work closely with the finance team to maintain proper internal control procedures.
• Any other accounting-related duties assigned by the Head of Accounts or Management.

Requirements

• OND in Accounting or related field (HND. is an added advantage).
• Preferably male, for job functions requiring mobility and field-related financial tasks.
• Must be computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be trustworthy, reliable, and disciplined.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience is an added advantage.
