    Accounting Manager

    Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, managing the accounting staff, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations, and a proven track record of effectively managing financial processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure proper liquidity management.
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Set clear goals and objectives for the team and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
    • Coordinate and manage external audits and reviews.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
    • Streamline and automate accounting processes using appropriate software and tools.
    • Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze variances and trends in financial data, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
    •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business planning and budgeting.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and reporting.
    • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to optimize financial processes and enhance overall business performance.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (at least 5+ years) in accounting, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
