Accounting / Economics Teacher at De Mould Academy

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for JSS and SSS classes.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson notes, and assessment materials aligned with WAEC/NECO standards.
• Conduct continuous assessments, exams, and provide timely feedback.
• Foster analytical and problem-solving skills in Accounting and Economics.
• Lead or support relevant clubs, competitions, and events.
• Maintain accurate student progress records and report to parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and teaching methods.

Requirements

• Education (Degree) in Accounting, Economics, or related field; NTE (Nigeria Teacher Education) is a plus.
• Minimum 2-4 years of secondary-level teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Economics principles.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
