Accounting Auditor at Mshel Homes Ltd

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Auditor to join our team. As an Accounting Auditor, your main responsibility will be to perform audits and assess financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a crucial role in improving the financial efficiency of our organization by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting necessary changes.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily audit of all company transactions and financial statements
• Submit weekly and monthly reports
• Ensure accuracy of outflows vs vouchers raised and approved
• Ensure accuracy of accounting reports
• Conduct and attend regular meetings with senior management to share financial findings
• Keep a check on processes and regulations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Work closely with top management to increase the financial efficiency of the company

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in Internal Audit (Financial audit) and accounting
• Vast knowledge of financial accounting
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial control, and auditing standards

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• ICAN or other relevant professional certification is an added advantage
