• A laundromat in Lekki Phase 1 is recruiting for the role of Accountant with good knowledge of Tax to join the team.

Job Description

• Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
• Manage financial reports using income and expenditure accounts.
• Manage the company’s finances using the company’s financial accounting software.
• File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
• Carryout payroll duties.
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements in time.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments and deposit.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information, pricing, customer information and other sensitive information.
• Maintain and manage all Procurement activities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant Accounting experience.
• Previous experience with filing taxes returns ( compulsory)
• ICAN certification (not mandatory).
• Female preferred for gender balance.
