Accountant at Total Data Limited

• We are looking to recruit an Accountant for our client in the Hospitality Industry.
• This role entails overseeing all financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets.
• Responsibilities include providing accurate quantitative data on the company's financial status, liquidity, and cash flows, while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all company accounting transactions.
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate financial data from various sources.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual and budgeted figures.
• Identify areas of financial risk or inefficiency and propose solutions to mitigate them.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.
• Comply with financial policies and regulatory compliance.

Requirements and Skills

• Work experience as an Accountant in the Hospitality Industry.
• Must have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables.
• Must exhibit Advanced Packaging Tool (apt technology).
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Report writing skills.
• Leadership skills and business etiquette.
• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
