Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile company accounts, including bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Journal Entries and Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and post journal entries, and maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing financial models and analyzing financial data.
• Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validity of financial data.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (2.1) or HND (Upper credit) in Accounting or related field.
• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
