Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Tax Consultant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide expert tax advice. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to prepare financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Manage tax planning and filing for individuals and businesses.
• Calculate and submit tax returns, ensuring timely payments.
• Advise clients on tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Assist in financial audits and liaise with tax authorities when necessary.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Provide guidance on bookkeeping and accounting best practices.
• Conduct risk analysis and assist in budget planning.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Tax Consultant certification is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or tax consulting.
• Experience working with tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and tax planning.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients or projects.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with corporate and international taxation.
• Familiarity with financial forecasting and risk assessment.
• Ability to handle tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
