Accountant at Scruples Resources

Are you an accounting professional with strong financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation skills? We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX controls
• Support financial consolidations and management reporting
• Analyze financial results, variances, and foreign currency exposure
• Support external reporting and SEC filing activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Minimum 9 months of accounting experience; 2–5 years preferred
• CPA certified or actively pursuing CPA
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP/S4, Hyperion, or Workiva is an advantage
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Prior audit experience is a plus
