Accountant at Resource Intermediaries Limited

We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our team in Oke-bola, Ibadan. In this fast-paced environment, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our company that imports and sells furniture and home appliances. While every staff member contributes to our sales success, you'll be the one keeping the books in order.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze financial data and generate reports to support management decisions
• Manage petty cash and other company accounts
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls
• Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure accurate pricing and invoicing for imported goods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a BSc/HND in Accounting or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: 80k - 120k (Depending on experience level)
