Job Summary

Financial Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and transactional data.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and generate financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
• Provide detailed financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial trends, and areas that require attention.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets in collaboration with relevant departments and management.
• Analyze financial data to provide accurate forecasts and budget variances, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

Tax Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and filing accurate tax returns (e.g., income tax, sales tax) in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws to minimize tax liabilities and take advantage of available deductions.

Audit and Compliance:

• Prepare financial documents and provide necessary support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory standards.

Financial Analysis:

• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies that enhance financial efficiency and profitability.

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:

• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
• Oversee accounts receivable functions, tracking customer payments, and taking appropriate actions for collections.

Financial Software and Systems:

• Utilize accounting software to record, organize, and analyze financial data efficiently.
• Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance accounting processes and workflow.

Payroll Processing (if applicable):

• Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Handle employee-related tax deductions and benefits administration.
