Job Description

• NOBZO is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, manage reconciliations and payments, and ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements.
• The role will also support budgeting, forecasting, payroll processing, audit coordination, and the continuous improvement of NOBZO’s financial controls and processes.
• The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and analytical skills, sound knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, proficiency in accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets, and a high level of integrity and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Practical knowledge of PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, and related statutory obligations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and numerical competence.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
