Job Overview

• The accountant is responsible for reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments, audits and making sure the company’s financial records are accurate tri-annually/throughout the year.
• The accountant will help the business make financial decisions by collecting, tracking and correcting the company finances.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Managing all accounting transactions
• Handling monthly, tri-annual and annual closings
• Ensuring timely payments and payment confirmations
• Preparing budget forecasts
• Computing taxes and prepare tax returns
• Managing balance sheets, profit and loss statements
• Reporting the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Auditing financial transactions and documents
• Making sure the company is complying with financial policies and regulations

Job Requirement

• Must have work experience as an accountant
• Must have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures and the generally accepted accounting principles (IFIRS)
• Must be able to use any accounting software and general ledger functions
• Must have advanced MS excel skills
• Must have strong attention to details and good analytical skills
• Must have BSc in Accounting, finance or any relevant degree(additional certifications is a plus)

Salary
N130,000 Monthly.
