Accountant at Newedge Finance Limited

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Approving and processing supplier payments, staff claims, salaries, and merchant settlements.
• Reviewing invoices/receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax and internal standards.
• Posting general journal entries and managing vouchers in the finance accounting system.
• Reconciling bank transactions and ensuring alignment with cash book balances.
• Preparing financial reports and handling month-end closures.
• Managing company tax registrations and remittances (state & federal).
• Supporting audits and maintaining strict compliance with internal controls.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and working knowledge of tax regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting systems.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of integrity.
