Accountant (Manager)- Abuja at Don Quester Consulting

Salary Range: ₦400,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Accountant at the Manager level to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage all accounting operations and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
3. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
4. Lead tax compliance and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
5. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
6. Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.
2. Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and leadership skills.
