Accountant at Leventis Foundation (Nig) Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data for the organization.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling the organization’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
• Completing analysis of employee expenditures.
• Managing income and expenditure accounts.
• Generating the organization’s financial reports using income and expenditure data.
• Overseeing the company’s finances based on the financial status.
• Filing and remitting taxes, pensions, and other financial obligations.
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
• Drawing up and instituting internal financial control procedures in the organization.
• Experience with accounting and financial software such as Peachtree package and data entry.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets.
• Ability to prepare the organization’s annual budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of five years of post-qualification work experience.
• Membership in ICAN or ANAN is an added advantage.
