Accountant at Lagostar Wire & Cable

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Ensure accurate and timely payment of VAT and PAYE
• Ensure that all necessary documents for delivery are processed and handed over to delivery  personnel. 
• Monitoring and posting of inflows by the customers into the quick-book accounting software 
• Ensure maintenance of logbook for partial deliveries. 
• Accurate prompt reconciliation of all customers’ accounts and other receivables accounts. 
• Weekly preparation and submission of aged receivable balance before close of work every Friday. 
• Filing of Withholding tax credit notes as paid by customers. 
• Management of petty cash accounts. 
• Any other job as may be assigned.
• Management of Scrap sales.

Qualifications / Experience 

• Bsc /HND Accounting (With ACA certification)
• 2 - 3 years working experience preferably manufacturing industry
