Job Description: 

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent attention to detail, and expertise in accounting and financial analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, managing reporting processes, and driving efficiency in the account department. In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare invoices, prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Auditing and Financial Analysis: Conduct internal audits, analyze financial data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Assist in tax planning, preparation, and submission of tax returns.
• Accounting System Maintenance: Maintain and update accounting systems, including software and hardware.

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years work experience as an accountant

Education: University Degree or HND

Requirements:

• Professional Certification: Preferred
• Accounting Software: Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders.
• Time Management and Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ownership: Ability to work under limited supervision and take responsibility for the role.

Remuneration:

• 150k -250k
