The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support, and facilitating communication within the organization.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent multitasking abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Education: HND/ Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2-5 years experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively and present financial information.
Certifications: Additional certification (CPA or ICAN, ACA) is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
Manage Financial Transactions: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly financial statements, including cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets.
Reconcile Accounts: Regularly reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial records.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations.
Budget Management: Assist in preparing budget forecasts and monitoring expenditures against the budget.
Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business decisions.
