Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and annual statement of comprehensive income and financial position
• Maintenance of financial ledgers and the accounting processes
• Computation and filing of all tax returns in line with current legislation
• Preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and cashflow reports
• Provide financial advice to the Managing Director on resource utilisation, taxation and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
• Develop and implement an accounting system of record-keeping by making use of existing accounting software
• Administration of payroll and ensuring that appropriate system and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Liaising with external auditors to ensure efficient and effective audit process are carried out
• Evaluation and reconciliation of all assets of the Company and maintenance of a fixed asset register
• All other tasks as shall be assigned

Education and Experience

• Accounting Degree or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years work experience.
• ACCA/ACA certification
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)
• Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
• Working knowledge and experience required.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 / month.
