Accountant at First Metro Infrastructure Limited

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Prepare financial statements, ledgers, and monthly reports.
• Manage general ledger postings, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain proper documentation and support audit processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–5 years hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficiency with financial systems and Excel.
• Good understanding of IFRS/GAAP and statutory compliance.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
