Accountant/Financial Officer at Elsadave

Responsibilities

• Keep, maintain and balance accurate records of all daily transactions
• Preparing cheques for utility, tax, payroll, and other company bills
• Prepare balance sheets
• Process invoices
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Update internal systems with financial data
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Preparing other accounting, statistical, and financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
• Participate in financial audits
• Track bank deposits and payments
• Assist with budget preparation
• Review and implement financial policies

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles applicable within an oil&gas sector
• Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus
• Proven work experience as an accountant or Finance Officer
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Experience using financial software
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
• ICAN
• Residing within Yaba/Lekki/Surulere, Gbagada, Ogudu and Ilupeju axis would be an added advantage
