Job Summary

• A Logistics company is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial reports to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process payroll and statutory remittances.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and financial planning.
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) or progress toward certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and integrity.
