Accountant at Dobic Health

Overview 

We are looking for an Accountant that has experience in handle financial records and ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency. An ideal candidate who will prepare and examine financial statements, recording transactions (income, expenses, assets, liabilities) Managing budgets and forecasts filing taxes and ensuring compliance with laws. 

Core  Responsibilities 

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organization
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor cash flow and track income and expenditures
• Process invoices, payments, Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Assist with audits and tax preparation/filings
• Collaborate with teams to track spending and optimize costs
• Maintain up-to-date financial documentation and records
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Requirements 

• ICAN/ACCA student membership is often an advantage
• Familiarity with Nigerian tax systems (FIRS regulations, VAT)
• Must reside on Lagos Island or Based in Lagos state. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field Msc. is an added advantage. 
• Minimum of 3–5 years working relevant experience with what we do
• Experience in a healthcare space and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
