Accountant at Cross River State Government

Reports To: Acting Director Finance
Function: Keeping and interpreting financial records

Job Description

• Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
• Monitoring spending and budget.
• Preparing accounts and tax returns.
• To prepare and maintain daily report of receipts from Cally Air Operations.
• Weekly and monthly reconciliation of inflow and expenditure.
• Weekly reconciliation and retirements with Aero-Contractors.

Education, Desirable Skill and Experience

• Graduate of Accounting or any related course
• Must be a chartered accountant for at least 7 years.
• At least 5 years working experience.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
