Accountant at Cozym Process Systems (CPS)

About the Role

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial statements and reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Support audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Proficiency in Tally / QuickBooks / Excel (mention software used)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred:

• Experience with GST, TDS, and payroll accounting
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and reporting
