• We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Hospital Accountant to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and hospital financial policies.
• This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain hospital financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Ensure accuracy in all hospital financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for hospital units and projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, suppliers, and healthcare regulators as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting
• Professional certification (ICAN /ANAN, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years’ accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and healthcare financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally ERP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
